AMD has released the Pro Edition 25 Q2 graphics driver aimed at professionals using Radeon PRO GPUs and select Ryzen processors. Unlike the standard Radeon Software updates gamers get, this one focuses on long-term stability, performance, and security for work-critical environments.
The latest AMD Software Pro Edition 25 Q2 brings official support for the new AMD Ryzen AI PRO chips, including the Ryzen AI Max 300 Series. It also adds compatibility for Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Server 2025, giving enterprise users room to test and deploy.

These drivers don’t update as frequently, but they’re tuned for reliability. If you’re running Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) or Windows Server 2022/2025, and you’re using a supported AMD system, you’re covered. That includes systems with:
- AMD Ryzen AI and Ryzen AI Pro processors
- Radeon PRO W7000, W6000, W5000, WX series, PRO VII, and Vega Frontier
- Workstations from HP and Lenovo, like the Firefly 14 G11 A or P14s Gen5
Issues that are yet to be fixed:
- Some 8K media files trigger a “Media Offline” error in DaVinci Resolve
- Terrain images don’t always load correctly in Tresus MVPPro
- Blender EEVEE has issues rendering shadows with the Subdivision Surface modifier
