If you’ve been hoping Persona 4 would get the same treatment as Persona 3, you might be in luck.

According to a report by MP1st, the Persona 4 Remake will be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8. It’s reportedly coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, though a Nintendo Switch 2 version wasn’t confirmed.

The new outlet notes:

A source familiar with the situation has confirmed to MP1st today that Persona 4 Remake will be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8. It’s planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, though we failed to get confirmation if there’s also a Switch 2 version releasing simultaneously.

Not long after, Windows Central reported that their sources said that the game will see the light of day at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase. Remember, the last time Persona 4 got a refresh was with the Golden version on Vita and PC.

Therefore, a full remake could overhaul combat, visuals, travel systems, and maybe, just maybe, add more save points in the dungeons. Longtime players still remember the pain of losing progress in Tartarus.
